Sustainability Hero (People’s Choice Award) winners – April 28, 2023
Our co-founder and CRO Ben Klepacki was honoured with winning the Sustainability Hero (People’s Choice Award) at the Alberta Cleantech awards in celebration of Ben’s unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on Alberta’s cleantech eco-system. Congratulations Ben!
2023 Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation – WEST – May 8, 2023
Earlier this year Convrg won an award from the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Corporation – WEST (CETAC-WEST) where our co-founders Ben Klepacki and Connor O’Shea won the 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year award. This award was given in recognition of their dedication to developing innovative environmental technologies.

Business Innovation Award of Distinction 2023 from the Alberta Chamber of Commerce – June 15, 2023
In June of this year, Convrg received the Business Innovation Award of Distinction from the Alberta Chamber of Commerce, an award that recognizes businesses and organizations demonstrating outstanding achievements and contributions in their communities.
Westgen Technologies Evolves into Convrg Innovations – September 7, 2023
This September, we announced our new and powerful identity: Convrg Innovations. Our new name reflects the convergence of traditional and green energy, and we dropped the ‘e’s in our name to indicate that we lower emissions with our technology and accelerate the energy evolution.
Ben Klepacki – Top 40 Under 40 – November 6, 2023
In November, our co-founder and CRO was recognized as one of the most outstanding young professionals in Calgary. Ben’s exceptional dedication, passion, and innovation earned him a spot in Avenue Magazines 2023 “Top 40 Under 40” and we could not be more excited – congratulations Ben!
